We serve "curanto en olla" native to Chiloé (seafood, sausages, potatoes & vegetables).
We will pick you up at the Santa Barbara airport and drive you to our Puerto Cárdenas Lodge set along a beautiful bend on the Rio Yelcho. Here you will spend three days fishing. You will either leave the lodge directly by boat to fish the waters of the Rio Yelcho or Lago Yelcho, or drive a short distance to other fishing opportunities.
Overseeing your needs at the lodge is Anna Jansen (a professional chef trained at the Culinary Institute of America). Meals are prepared by Anna and her staff utilizing locally grown produce in traditional Chilean and international dishes. During your fishing day, lunch will be cooked riverside or you can opt to come back to the lodge for lunch and a short siesta. After fishing, enjoy drinks on the deck overlooking the Rio Yelcho amid unspoiled temperate rain forests, and glacier topped mountains.
